about QITANYO (chi-tan-yo)
QiTanYo therapy Method is a system of invigorating & gentle vitalizing practices that combine the transforming powers & principles of traditional
Qigong & Tantra Yoga Therapy. It is a form of somatic therapy that embraces the art of intentional release & digestive well-being.
The body/heart/mind coherence & the psycho-spiritual aspects of ourselves are nourished & integrated into our authentic life experiences.
Using our breath/movement meditation & sound will help guide you into the truest wisdom of your Source essence.
QiTanYo Method encourages us to look at our emotions in a safe & held container. In this way we can acknowledge & integrate these aspects of ourselves effectively & compassionately.
Oftentimes we get caught up in a loop-habit-spiral of negative thoughts and block ourselves from our highest freedom and contentment. This method brings focus to nourish and feed our emotional intelligence as well as feeding the deep well-being of our body, mind and heart & soul in the daily.
Series of integrative qigong & tantra yoga therapy practices & sound meditation are crafted to integrate our nervous systems w/ our body/mind/soul coherence to bring strength & vitality in our daily lives.
My profound journey...
...into the world of Yoga began over two decades ago in my homeland, Turkey.
It was a journey sparked by a deep calling to heal a herniated disk on my spine – a condition that left her paralyzed and mired in a profound depression for many years.
Guided by an unwavering determination to heal both her physical and emotional wounds, Tutku embarked on a dedicated exploration of practices that not only restored her spine but also rejuvenated and awakened her heart and spirit.
Her path unfolded through devoted studies and practices across diverse traditions, both traditional and modern, in yoga, meditation, qigong, and nutrition.
Tutku's travels took her through the heartlands of India, the spiritual sanctuaries and monastic life of Nepal, and the expansive knowledge within the USA.
These experiences have woven a rich tapestry of knowledge and wisdom into her offerings.
Today, Tutku offers communal and private somatic healing practices, carefully crafted to harmonize the physical, psycho-spiritual, and emotional dimensions of our beings.
Her conviction lies in the transformative power of breath and vital life energy. She believes, wholeheartedly, that through these elements, we can mend our bodies and souls, transcending limitations to emerge as embodiments of liberation, tranquility, and insight.
As an eternal student of life, Tutku honors and pays homage to the numerous teachers who have illuminated her path. Her dedication to learning has led her to earn certifications in a variety of domains:
Tantric Hatha Yoga & Ayurveda from The Wild Temple School, CA (EYT 500), Classical Hatha Yoga from Rishikesh, India (YTT 200), Astanga Yoga from Dharamsala, India (YTT 200), intensive studies in the Tibetan Mahayana tradition of Mindfulness Meditation at Kopan Monastery, Nepal, and Trauma-Informed Yoga from Firefly International, CA.
Her journey of growth is ongoing, as she presently immerses herself in the teachings of Tevia Feng, pursuing The 8 Trigram Qigong Master Course.
Tutku's odyssey is a testament to the power of transformation, a beacon of hope for those seeking healing and empowerment.
With each breath and step, lets remember that we are the boundless potential of the human spirit to rise above challenges and radiate wisdom, grace, and strength.
With admiration and respect,
-words of love and gratitude-
She serves as an inspiring model of the real goal of yoga which I have heard expressed, “May I leave no one out of my heart.” Tutku’s gentle guidance in postures and enlightened approach to practice have substantially enhanced my life.
